POW-WOW DRAWINGS is an exhibition of drawings that describes the contemporary, Native American, Pow-Wow dance contest. These drawings portray Traditional Dancers, Fancy Dancers, Shawl Dancers, and Hoop Dancers, in action as well as at rest. Also included is a group of intimate portraits of the Pow-Wow participants showing their traditional costumes while also wearing their contemporary accouterments such as sunglasses and contestant numbers.
